It's actually one frame from Dietrle's movie - Joseph Cotton, Jennifer Jones (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0040705/). It's been dismissed over the years by some as just eye candy (it certainly is that), but I like it very much. Movies like it, and like the single frame from Malick's The Thin Red Line below can render some amazing stills even without their original context.
