Another Weekend, Another 100.000

Barack Obama has another one of his intimate gatherings in Denver. You know, just a few close friends... 100,000 of 'em.


I used to live about four blocks from there and that space is a lot larger than it appears in the pics. That is one big crowd.

From the Denver Post:

"Do you ever have small crowds in Denver?" Obama asked the crowd, which shouted back "NO!"

Denver police estimated the crowd at more than 100,000.


The Obama campaign said it was the largest U.S. crowd to ever attend rally to see the Illinois senator.

The Capitol building in the background is four long blocks away.

Wait. Is he all the way in front of the Federal Building, or is he somewhere in the park? Either way, that's a lot of people. I wonder if anyone got up on the big red chair....
