I have a friend with an ever growing photo collection of kids screaming on Santa's lap. She also delights in pictures of children dressed in their halloween finest. Try this if you prefer Santa's misery , but if Halloween carves your pumpkin, photographer Amy Stein has a great portrait series of kids on the streets of Harlem, costumed for candy day.
