Domestically Terrifying

On that whole domestic terrorist thing. Let's take another look at the Palins and the Alaska Independence Party. You remember Todd until 2002 was a member of that crazy bunch of secessionists and that Sarah as recently as last March had done a video welcome for their convention, right? You also remember the party's crazy founder, Joe Vogler, who started all that secession stuff, wanting to ditch the US of A and go it alone, join Opec, form a strategic and military alliance with the USSR, and swore he would never be buried under an American flag, right?

Well it seems old Joe, was all set to address the United Nations in 1993. He was going to make the case to that august body for Alaska's secession dreams and lay in to the United States and the evil it represented. Sadly, Joe never got to make that speech. He was killed when a deal to buy some plastic explosives went bad and the supplier decided to just keep Joe's money and the C4. The UN moved on to other things.

The funny thing was, Joe needed a sponsor in order to make that speech. He needed some country that would give him their pulpit. Who do you think he found? Canada? No. Mexico? Nope. How bout Japan, or Belgium, or even Iceland? No way. His cut his deal with Iran.

Vogler's greatest moment of glory was to be his 1993 appearance before the United Nations to denounce United States "tyranny" before the entire world and to demand Alaska's freedom. The Alaska secessionist had persuaded the government of Iran to sponsor his anti-American harangue.

That's right ... Iran. The Islamic dictatorship. The taker of American hostages. The rogue nation that McCain and Palin have excoriated Obama for suggesting we diplomatically engage. That Iran.

You betcha, the Palins were palling around with a secessionist, anti-american, domestic terrorist organization with ties to Iran. Hell, Todd was a card-carrying member. How bout that?

There's something even more fun than Ol' Joe Vegler ties to the Palins.

This came from Crroks and Liars...

"GOP presidential nominee John McCain has past connections to a private group that supplied aid to guerrillas seeking to overthrow the leftist government of Nicaragua in the Iran-Contra affair.

"The U.S. Council for World Freedom was part of an international organization linked to former Nazi collaborators and ultra-right-wing death squads in Central America. The group was dedicated to stamping out communism around the globe.

"The council's founder, retired Army Maj. Gen. John Singlaub, said McCain became associated with the organization in the early 1980s as McCain was launching his political career in Arizona. Singlaub said McCain was a supporter but not an active member in the group."

If you want a good look at it, Google "McCain world console" and look for the link from crooksandliars.com.

Another thing about this group - these are the people that helped give Osama Bin-Ladin and the Taliban their start. And since we all know that the Taliban is the group responsible for the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, that would mean that John McCain is also responsible using the campaign's loose-association rules.

This is what I call family fun!

And apparently, I can't spell "crooks" when the TV is split between the computer and the news.

Go me!
