McCain Blew It Up

Hey, remember when the McCain campaign blamed Obama and the Democrats when the first bailout package failed.

"This bill failed because Barack Obama and the Democrats put politics ahead of country," Holtz-Eakin said.

Well now the McCain campaign is taking credit for the bill's failure.

McCain campaign manager Rick Davis also credited McCain with "blowing ... up" the first bailout package when he suspended his campaign to come to Washington, something McCain's campaign had heatedly denied at the time.

Since McCain is all over this ACORN issue and that bill had some funding for ACORN he says he wouldn't stand for it and so he made sure it wouldn't pass.... uh... yeah... for today at least.

And I thought it was just Palin that was the pathological liar.
