This story is getting weirder. Yesterday, someone posted pictures of Palin looking very pregnant that, according to the poster "were taken on the last day of this year's legislative session, April 13", which would have been five days before the baby was delivered. It appears to put the matter to rest, at least for Andrew Sullivan of the Atlantic Monthly.It's funny that the timestamp for the photo is March 19, 2005. And to add more mystery to the whole thing, she is pictured with Bill McAllister, whom the poster identifies as her Director of Communications (press secretary). He was not named her Director of Communications until August 12, 2008.
This is messy at best and I get the feeling there is now some kind of push-back from Palin's people.
