Leave The Gun; Take The Cannoli

Palin appeared on Limbaugh's radio show today and he praised her endlessly about taking on Obama's various, nefarious connections (while Rush did who knows what under his desk). But the odd and amusing part came when he asked her what her plans were after November 4th. She answered, "That's a good question."

Even the two of them can't keep up the charade.

The McCain campaign has, without McCain's knowledge or approval, become nothing more than a PR junket to set the stage for Palin's 2012 run for the White House. Poor John, he has become a tool and nothing more. The maverick's being taken for a ride - "leave the gun; take the cannoli."

While I do not have the highest opinion of GOP voters, I cannot imagine Palin surviving the primary season. In 2012 or any year.

There's a wing of the party that loves - I mean loves - her and they're not all rednecks. Bill Kristol promoted her for the ticket. I don't think her support would get her the nod but there are even GOP "intellectuals" who complain only that "she isn't ready YET"
